and head instructor at the Woodsman School. Derek has over 16
years of military and survival experience. Areas of expertise
are in Primitive Skills, Man and Animal Tracking, Primitive
Trapping Techniques, Hunting and Scouting Techniques, Natural
Shelter Building and Navigation. |

Joe
“Trapper” Goulart
Lead
instructor at the Woodsman School. Joe has a great deal of knowledge
in the outdoors and has been a Trapper extroadineer for 2 decades.
He used to earn his living trapping small and medium size animals
in the eastern woodlands. Joe is also a master of cabin and
shelter building. |

Chad
Vieth
Chad
is an all around woodsman. He has spent most of his years in
up state New York hunting, fishing and practicing his skills
in some of the harshest conditions. Chad is very skilled in
the processing of fish and small to large game animals. |

Marc
Hallee
Marc is a certified Red Cross First Aid and CPR intructor and administers
any first aid required during all courses and events. Although Marc
is the primary medical provider at The Woodsman School, he also possesses
a well rounded set of skills that he obtained through other survival
school courses. |
